We Are Specialized In
✓ Development of lightweight structures
We primarily develop lightweight constructions as supporting structures for photovoltaic plants. In doing so, we act as an interface between planning and production for Europe-wide projects. In close cooperation with our partners, we develop constructions, perform the static calculations and carry out the constructive optimizations. Each construction is individually adapted to the site conditions. These range from photovoltaic systems on sophisticated arched roofs to industrial buildings and solar parks.
✓ Assessment of the load-bearing capacity of structures
We assess the load-bearing capacity of existing buildings. When photovoltaic systems are installed on the roofs of existing buildings, additional loads arise due to the dead weight of the modules, structures and ballasting. In order to ensure that the load-bearing capacity of the building is still guaranteed, a precise assessment of the structure is essential in order to determine the load-bearing reserves.

In our master studies we specialized in structural engineering. The focus of the scientific master and design work was in the field of renewable energies. Combined with our professional experience in project management and structural engineering we are well prepared for the technical challenges of our time

Our Focus
In all our services we offer the service phases 1 to 5 according to HAOI in structural planning and object planning. If required, we also support you in the work phases 6 to 8.
Photovoltaik
In the case of ground-mounted systems (solar parks), we pay particular attention to the saving of structural elements and carry out the static and geotechnical verifications for the structures.
For the installation of photovoltaic systems on roof surfaces, various verifications must be carried out, including:
-verification of tilting
-slip proof
-proof of lifting or ballasting
-proof of stability of the system
Large manufacturers often supply only the necessary verifications for simple roof geometries. For many buildings, however, individual designs are necessary. We develop these for you and carry out all necessary structural engineering verifications and work out an innovative and economical plan for the installation of the photovoltaic modules.
Structural engineering
For new buildings, we develop innovatively designed, technically efficient and economically optimized structures for our customers in close cooperation with the architects. For the conversion of existing structures, we focus on economical and intelligent solutions that preserve the substance of the building.
Hall construction
In the hall construction sector, we develop technically efficient, individual solutions for hall construction of all types (wood, steel and solid construction) in close consultation with you.
Determination of load reserves
Assessment of the load-bearing capacity of existing buildings
The additional loads caused by the photovoltaic modules on the building must be safely transferred from the roof to the ground. For this purpose, the load-bearing reserves must be determined precisely. Building owners often lack documentation on the building and the determination of the load-bearing reserves is then often only possible by means of a building diagnosis. In various projects, we have been able to develop solutions despite the lack of as-built documentation by using unconventional approaches and bypassing expensive as-built diagnostics.
